76th anniv. of Nakba Day; Colapsing Zionist regime

TEHRAN, May 15 (MNA) – The 76th anniversary of Nakba Day has come at a time when the Zionist regime is on the verge of collapse due to intelligence-security failure, collapse of deterrence, Resistance combined attacks, and political-economic crisis.

May 15, 1948, is a reminder of a sad and unforgettable day for Palestine and the Islamic world, a history in which the fake Zionist regime was formed under the Western banner and which Muslims call Nakba Day.

The day of Nakba was an excuse to occupy about 80% of the territory of Palestine and the source of the brutal slaughter, expulsion, and displacement of 70% of the population.

So in the post-Nakba Day, at least 15,000 Palestinians were martyred and 750,000 Palestinians were expelled from their country. That was more than half of the population of Palestine at the time.

When the official occupation of the country began between 1948 and 1950, over 530 Palestinian towns and villages were destroyed.

Many of the demolitions took place because displaced Palestinians could not return to their homes. More than 7 million Palestinians are still dreaming of returning to other countries, with 6.4 million in Arab countries and 761,000 in other countries.

The killing machine of the criminal Zionist regime has never stopped in the past 76 years. Massacres and organized disasters such as the killings of Diryasin, Kafr Qasim, Sabra, and Shatila, martyrdom of thousands of Palestinians, Lebanese, and citizens from other countries, military invasion of the periphery of Palestine, and occupation of parts of the territories of the countries of the region are just a few of the crimes of this regime in the shadow of silence and inactivity of the international community and the support of the advocates of this criminal regime.

So over the past 76 years, more than 150,000 Palestinians have been shot directly by the Zionists. In the past 220 days alone, during the regime's war against the Gaza Strip, over 35,000 innocent Palestinians, two-thirds of whom were women and children, have been victims of the crimes and ethnic cleansing of the Zionists.

The biggest defeat of the Zionist regime in the post-Al-Aqsa era is the intensification of reverse migration. Since May 1948 the first year of misery to the present day, the Israeli authorities have made great efforts to send Zionists from all over the world to the land as they gradually occupy Palestinian land.

The failure of the project to move Zionists to occupied territories had long been evident. Not only are Zionists unwilling to reside in these occupied territories, but those who live in these areas are also looking for an opportunity to leave.

So the reverse migration wave that was previously triggered by political instability, economic problems, repression, and corruption in Netanyahu's cabinet and himself has intensified over the past seven months due to fears of Resistance attacks.

Some 80,000 settlers in the north of the occupied territories have not returned to their settlements due to Hezbollah's rocket, drone, and missile attacks, despite cabinet promises.

In the post-Al-Aqsa Storm, the economic situation of the Zionist regime deteriorated, so much so that in early January 2024, the regime's media reported that 260,000 Israelis had applied for unemployment benefits since Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.

The economic reports of the Zionist press also show the major damage done to the tourism and services sector in the occupied territories. These figures show that 73% of the tourism revenue of the Zionist regime has been completely lost, 64% of the transaction volume has been reduced and the transaction amount has experienced a 26% decrease.

Therefore, in recent months, the problems of Zionists have multiplied and the continuation of the Gaza war has paved the way for an escalation of the economic crisis in the occupied territories; a fourfold increase in the unemployment rate, the fall of the stock exchange, the sharp decline in the value of the form (the currency of the regime), the flight of domestic and foreign capitals, as well as the multi-billion dollar reduction in foreign reserves, are a few of these problems.

One of the main reasons for the economic problems of the Zionist regime is due to the ongoing attacks of the Yemeni army. Senior economists at the Israeli Ministry of Finance believe that redirecting ships from the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab to southern Africa for fear of Yemeni attacks will add about 13,000 kilometers to the distance before the ships reach the ports of the regime, which has imposed exorbitant costs.

In an analysis of economic experts, it was found that the costs of this regime from Bab al-Mandeb insecurity have increased by between 67 and 200%, a figure that will increase significantly with the continuation of the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip and continued attacks by the Yemeni army.

In general, as the economic and livelihood problems intensify, the empty security of Zionist settlements has also been exposed. The inhabitants of the occupied territories not only lack economic prosperity but also have become more determined to leave the occupied territories because of the constant fear of the missiles of resistance, which has shattered the plan and dream of returning to the promised land.

Unlike previous years, the 76th anniversary of the "Nakba Day" has arrived in a very different environment, where the Zionist regime is facing an entangled clutch of crises. It is no longer just about the collapse of the cabinet and the internal coup, but much more than that, the survival of the Zionist regime has been seriously compromised.

The ongoing combined attacks of the Resistance Axis from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Palestine have pushed the regime to the brink of a cliff at the cost of the war of attrition in the Gaza Strip. The missile-drone response of the Islamic Republic of Iran during Operation True Promise to the Zionist regime's missile attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus showed that the black days of the fake Zionist regime have come and this regime is taking its last breaths.

In addition, with the al-Aqsa Storm Operation, the dishonesty of the intelligence and security agencies of the Zionist regime was revealed. Then, the high number of casualties, the failure of Netanyahu and his hardline cabinet to achieve the goals (total occupation of the Gaza Strip, the destruction of Hamas, the liberation of Zionist prisoners), and finally the regime's vulnerability to attacks by the Resistance and Iran, confirmed the collapse of the regime's deterrence.

On the other hand, the Zionist regime has been in strategic isolation due to the genocide in the Gaza Strip, condemning the crimes of this regime in the International Court of Justice and, more recently, the adoption of a resolution on full membership of Palestine in the United Nations with a positive vote of 143 members of the General Assembly of this organization, as well as the rise of European countries to recognize an independent Palestinian state from the strategic bottleneck and isolation of the Zionist regime in The international scene is showing.
